Cherry Lane Theatre was founded in 1924 and is the longest continuously Off-Broadway theatre in New York City! Cool, right?!
Their mission? "To cultivate an urban artist colony, honor our groundbreaking history, and engage audiences in creating theater that illuminates contemporary issues, and at its best, transforms the spirit."
Located at Greenwich Village, the space is the home (and "lab" as they explain) of new American works, but they also host amazing groundbreaking productions.
With 2 stages (179 seats and 60 seats), they are currently presenting 3 works: Major Tom, Ghostlight 9: A Musical Ghost Story and 8 Stops!
