October 9th was the official opening of a unique exhibition with the work of the famous 20th century Italian printer, Giorgio Morandi (1980-1964).
“The exhibition focuses on the artist’s rarely seen works from the 1930s—the decade when Morandi reached full artistic maturity and developed his distinctive pictorial language.”
There are over 50 paintings, etchings and drawings being featured at the Center for Italian Modern Art, a nonprofit organization located at 421 Broome Street, 4th Floor.
These fascinating art works have not been seen in the US in half a century and are definitely a must-see!
Visits happen on Friday’s and Saturday’s at 11am, 1pm, 3pm and 5pm and cost a symbolic $10.
