There are countless NYC food events and finding the right one can be a guessing game. The guys behind Komeeda really know how to put together an amusing and delicious event. This is a recap of what went down at the Chef Showdown #3 NYC!
Every day there are countless foodie events happening through out the 5 boroughs. Therefore, it’s quite tough to know which one to pick! The best events are made up of a mix of things: the crowd, the music, the venue, the experience and obviously, the menu.
Komeeda does it all! As they say, they are “Rewriting The Culture of Food”! We love it!
So, we decided to partner up with Komeeda and Peatix to sponsor their “Chef Showdown #3 NYC“.
To begin with, the event provided a platform for new and ambitious chefs to showcase their creative talents via a social and interactive evening.
Also, it brought together three innovative chefs, food personalities and food lovers (a.k.a you!), for a night of bites, drinks and conversation.
Three chefs Amy Weisinger, Brandon Walker and J. Paula created two bite-sized appetizers each, reflecting their creative abilities.
In addition, the audience, tasted, critiqued and judged each bite based on creativity, presentation and taste. We were able to see them prepare, and serve everyone. Each dish was quit unique and very tasty!
Finally, the winner was crowned the Showdown Champion: Chef J. Paula!

Ticket included all six bites, beer & wine, hors d’oeuvres by Chef Showdown #2 Champion, Chef Flo. Plus, the opportunity to vote for the Chef Showdown #3 winner.
