Dining By Chloe Restaurant Vegan Full Table Menu

Last week we had lunch at By Chloe NYC restaurant. Yup, every single thing is done with plant-based ingredients.

The cool thing there is that for those who are not Vegan, or are a bit skeptic of this upcoming lifestyle, you’ll be surprised at how delicious and tasty everything is.

I’m Vegetarian, but was particularly craving for something “burger like” on this day, so I ordered The Burger Classic and it was incredible. It’s made with tempeh-lentil-chia-walnut patty, pickles, onion, beet ketchup, special sauce, potato bun. Plus, it’s Gluten-free!

We also tried:

  • Quinoa Taco – spicy seitan chorizo, black beans, sweet corn, avocado, tomato, tortilla strips, crèma, agave-lime vinaigrette
  • Avocado Pesto Pasta – avocado-cashew pesto, grape tomatoes, almond parm, fresh basil – Gluten-free
  • Pesto Meatball – Italian meatballs (portobello + veggie), marinara, sweet peppers, basil pesto, cashew mozz, almond parm, potato sub roll

And for dessert:

  • Gluten-free chocolate chip cookies
  • Raspberry tiramisu cupcakes
  • Chlostess cupcakes
  • Kale Cookies Ice Cream

The place has not even wrapped up it’s 1st year of life and these guys are have other locations popping up! Amazing work and definitely a huge success in New York!

Now, if you’re the type that craves sweets, try Sweets by Chloe.

It’s literally just neighbor to the restaurant in Greenwich Village and we are sure you will find yourself in paradise! The sweets are really fantastic! We love their Red Velvet cupcake!

And still, they’ve got quite a few stores spread around the US, so go find the one closest to you!

By Chloe NYC’s success is evident, right? As they say…”Eat Well. Eat with purpose.

Dining Hummus Kitchen Restaurant Full Table

New York City surely has it all when we talk about dining experiences. If you enjoy Middle Eastern cuisine, Hummus Kitchen is definitely one of the restaurants to visit.

Don’t you wake up sometimes totally in the mood for hummus? Well, we do! So, we decided to go to Hummus Kitchen to kill our craving!

With 3 different locations in Manhattan – Hell’s Kitchen, Upper East Side and Murray Hill – we decided to visit the one in Hell’s Kitchen this time and we simply loved it.

It’s a small place, with around 20 tables, a small façade, a very welcoming environment with gorgeous brick walls (yes, we’re into brick walls, lol), and an extremely outgoing and polite staff.

We got there around 12:30pm and in no time the place was full, plus the delicious smell from the kitchen started subtly invading the entire place – don’t worry, it doesn’t stick to your clothes and hair….!

We tried several different Vegan dishes (see picture), like:

  • Super-Healthy Salad – Quinoa, apricot, cranberry, walnuts and charred beets with fresh lemon juice and mint dressing
  • Charred Beets – Tahini, silan, organic mixed greens & walnuts
  • The Falafel – Falafel balls made from greens and chickpea, served with tahini, cured cabbage and grilled onion
  • Cauliflower – With tahini, grilled red onion and thyme
  • The Hummus Kitchen – Platter divided by four types of hummus: chickpea, chicken (we substituted for the vegetarian hummus), tahini and plain

Desserts were amazing:

  • Malabi – Mediterranean flan topped with coconut, pistachio & grenadine
  • The Kitchen Kadif – Halva parfait on shredded filo dough topped with halva & silan

We were super satisfied with out lunch and had no space for dessert.

But, we’re definitely going back to try the Loco Morocco, a chocolate mousse cake with coconut and whipped cream over dark chocolate sauce! We simply love Middle Eastern cuisine.

Oh! Are you vegan? They have some fantastic options (some we tried, as we listed above)!

Want to explore the neighborhood of Hell’s Kitchen?

After lunch, you can pass by Fountain House Gallery, that hosts amazing exhibitions and installations. If you’re more the night-owl type, you will certainly have a great time at The Press Lounge rooftop bar.

Plus, you’re only a few blocks away from Central Park and the Hudson River. If you have kids, walk towards the river to the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum.

And still, if you’re looking for a place to stay in the neighborhood, you can try the Yotel Hotel.

Last, but not least, let us help you our planning your trip and hooking you up with the most fantastic activities through our Concierge Services. Wait! Are you a business? We can make everything seamless for you, your clients and employees. Talk to our experts to see our Corporate Services.

The Fantastic House Of Yes In Bushwick!

Nightlife Bars House of Yes Credit Andre T. Foster

Inside a 2,500 square foot loft in Brooklyn, in the year of 2007, the House of Yes in Bushwick was brought to life! It was a labor of love with the mission of offering a creative place for artists and friends.

In time, the dream came to life. After a massive transformation of a former ice warehouse into this fantastic space, The House of Yes was finally opened.

Who they had hanging there? The most creative and inspiring groups of musicians, dancers, artists and creatives of all types. The venue was used for dance and dinner parties, yoga for the fitness & health tribe and even movie screenings for the cinephiles.

Less than a year went by and a huge fire tore the place down, but with priceless help and love of the local community, they restarted this project at Grand Street, East Williamsburg, in an even bigger space.

The project grew, the groups of interesting people expanded and the activities offered had now a wide range. Classes of various modalities were given, people rented the space for birthday parties and brands coveted the spot for their fashion shows.

In 2013, with the ferocious raising rents, they had again to move to a new spot. So, they were taken back to where it all started, in Bushwick!

Today, the space continues hosting and showcasing the most unique, intriguing and peculiar performances.

The parties are some of the best in the whole New York area, with top artists and creatives. The mixture of acrobatics, circus acts, fetish-style vibe and music might help you understand what to expect.

They have the craziest nights in town, but they also offer fantastic children performances and family events. If you’re not sure what to expect, take a look at the image gallery and a few pictures we selected!

Ah! And their Halloween party is truly one of the best in New York – we’ve been there!

Plus, take a look at their fantastic performance at the NYC Price 2017 parade.

House of Yes in Bushwick is surely a place that the entire community benefits from and most definitely enjoys! Keep your eyes opened for their next breathtaking event!

While in Bushwick be sure to explore! This is one of the hippest neighborhood and home to some of the most creative talents in New York.

For food,  you can try the famous vegan Champs Diner, Roberta’s Pizza is on the top of the list and Sea Wolf, on the corner of the most famous street with graffiti arts. You can have dessert at the vegan Dunwell Doughnuts – if we hadn’t said vegan, you’d never suspect!

And last, if you’re looking for a super trendy tour to go, try our Bushwick Graffiti, Bites & Drinks Photo Tour.

Hours: May vary. Please check their website.
