Nest Interiors has some of the most amazing mid-century vintage and contemporary design. This small shop is a place to go and purchase that perfect gem for your home.
A few days ago our Founder, Fê Paronetto, had lunch with a dear friend, Dani Cutait.
During lunch, Dani mentioned a small store close to her apartment in Chelsea and said it’s one of her top NYC home décor shops.
This is a really great tip if you enjoy unique mid-century vintage and contemporary design items for your home!
Nest Interiors is a beautiful, petit store founded in 2004 by the couple Henry Stozek and Lana Sexton.
Their mission is to provide a source for curated mid-century vintage and contemporary design.
“Lana & Henry both share a love for modern, timeless interiors and have been avid supporters of local artists for over a decade.
In concert with their appreciation of Scandinavian modern design and the art of fine craftsmanship, they have amassed a global collection of the finest examples of mid-century glass, metal, ceramics and art.”
From the moment Fê walked into the the store, she fell in love with everything. From the beautiful colorful pillows, picture frames, vintage glasses, vases and candle holders, to bowls, jewelry boxes, lamps and varied décor items.
The store is small, but there is so much to explore that it might be a while before you are able to leave it. Furthermore, it’s all very tempting, so you’re most likely to leave with something new for your home!
So, pass by if you enjoy having a stylish and chic home! This is surely the place for you!
While you’re in the neighborhood, you can see what on at The Joyce Theater, see what’s the new theme at STORY, or go at night to the speakeasy called Bathtub Gin.
