New York, also known as the Big Apple, is one of the world’s most amazing cities. So, we will share with you 3 group activities you can do in 1 day in the Big Apple!

Steeped in history and home to some of the world’s most famous people, living and dead, the city is bursting with the cool factor.

This 783km2 of land packs in some of the world’s most iconic locations such as Wall Street, Liberty Island, and Harlem.

With so much to do, you couldn’t possibly see everything in New York in one day.

But you can take a bite out of this apple and sample just a little of what it offers when visiting with friends or family. Some of the bets are as follows.

Immersive Entertainment

Our need for entertainment never ends. Fortunately, New York is vibrant and bursting with things to scratch that entertainment itch.

The city plays host to seasonal circus acts that mesmerize with death-defying and extraordinary acts. Acts that are about as close as you can get to inspiring feats of strength. And traditional circuses aside, Cirque Du Soleil is known to grace Brooklyn’s OVO theatre.

But if you need to be a little closer to the story, you could consider immersive theater. The McKittrick Hotel is currently home to the Woman in Black.

An immersive adaptation of Susan Hill’s gothic horror that plays out right in front of you. But for the more logical and active, why not be the entertainment? The best escape room provider in the city is based in Manhattan.

These interactive puzzles challenge you to overcome a series of logical and physical challenges while working as a team to find your way out.

Attend a Sports Game

Like most major cities, New York is home to numerous sports teams for almost every sport imaginable.

Baseball, basketball, football, and hockey are among some of the most popular in the city.

Catching a home game for one of NYC’s favorite teams is among the most inspiring group activities available. Attend a game and cheer on your team through a grueling sports match.

Currently, New York is home to two Major League Baseball teams, the New York Yankees and the Mets. Additionally, there are three NFL teams, including the Giants and 3 NHL hockey teams.

And for the more European among you, soccer is becoming more popular with the two teams New York FC and the New York Red Bulls, representing the city in Major League Soccer. Although the Red Bulls are based in New Jersey.

See History Come to Life

New York is on par with any major world city such as London, Rome, and Paris when it comes to educational establishments, art, and museums.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art alone is astounding and holds some of the world’s leading art events.

Currently, you can visit for a close-up look at some of the fantastic works of art commissioned by the infamous Medici family of Florence or be amazed by a collection of paintings from the Dutch Masters display.

Of course, it isn’t only artwork you can view across NYC. The American Museum of Natural History is a traditional museum with historical pieces from across the story of mankind.

The National 9/11 Memorial and Museum is an excellent way to pay your respects for more precise museum adventures.

Or, for a more specific experience, you can visit the USS Intrepid’s Air and Space museum aboard the decommissioned warship.
